Tonight, Delonte West and the Boston Celtics will tip off against the LA Lakers live from the Staple Center at 7:30PM ET. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN as well as through Fox Sports Net New England.
Delonte will be the Celtic’s starting point guard and is expected to line up against Smush Parker, starting PG for the Lakers. Smush is averaging 11.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. Delonte leads Smush’s averages in all three categories with his 11.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
The Celtics look to end their road trip with a winning record. On Friday night, the Celtics won their 6th road game of the year with a win in Portland over the Trail Blazers. While it was just the 6th road win all season for the C’s, it was the second on this four game road trip to start the second half of the season. With a win tonight, the Celtics will cap the road trip with a 3 and 1 record.
