Delonte West played 42 minutes tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers as the Celtics lost a tough road game by a final of 94 to 82. Delonte was 6 for 13 shooting the ball (2 for 4 behind the arc) while scoring 14 points. West also pulled down 7 rebounds and dished out 7 assists in the Celtics loss.
While the loss does not help the Celtics chances for earning the eight seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs, both Chicago and Philadelphia lost tonight as well — so no ground was lost either.
The Celtics will return to action on Sunday when they play the Chicago Bulls in Boston at the TD BankNorth Garden.
