The Boston Celtics fought hard right down to the final buzzer tonight but came up short and lost to the Raptors 106 to 102. In their final preseason game before next Wednesday’s opener, the Celtics played well offensively and were able to keep the game close despite turning the ball over more than 20 times in the contest. Delonte West score 17 points while coming down with 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the loss. With Paul Pierce out with an infected finger, Wally Szczerbiak stepped up once again to lead the team’s scoring efforts with his 27 points tonight.
