Delonte West scored just 2 points in Thursday night’s 106 – 99 loss to the Phoenix Suns. The home opener for the Sonics showed promise though, as first round and second overall draft pick Kevin Durant scored 27 points in 39 minutes. West only played in 13 minutes for the Sonics, earning three assists in thirteen minutes of play.

Delonte West is a bum..he’s only out there to pat his own stats. Selfish
While I’m trying to respect your opinion — how on Earth can someone with 2 points be labeled as a bum. Also, I’ve heard of padding stats… but not patting.
As a long time basketball coach, and fan of the game, I would love to have a D-West on my team any time, no matter what the make-up of the team was. Also, as a Celtics fan, I observed first hand that Delonte is not about padding his stats – he’s the last thing from it. He’s a team player and the type that will assume any role asked of him, and has, and will go absolutely all-out in doing it. I’d love to see him back in Celtics green. If anyone deserves being back with this newly formulated C’s team, it’s him – after seeing his effort, devotion, and accomplishments there – and they could certainly still use him. Plus, they would be getting back one of their best defenders.

I WAS delonte’s #1 fan when he was on the Celtics but now i don’t even like him. Delonte, join the celtics again and then you will go home with a championship in your hands. The Big 3 are unstoppable so come and join them again!

you are so good, I look to you as a role model. I think you are hot, but you still are a very respectfull person, and great role model. And you even said that ” begin a role model to kids, and seeing their faces when you say stuff to them”, you said you loved doing that. That, was one thing you liked about fans. Well I’m a very big fan of you. I hope you will keep doing goodwork. You are doing awsome. I personally think you should shoot more. But I’m just a fan, that loves you as a role model. I love the cavs. I just wish we had some of them back.Like Larry hughes. Wally and my favorite Delonte are doing just fine to though. You guys are doing great. And you guys need to understad that you don’t always need LeBron.Boobie, Delonte, Wally, Z, and VJ can handle their own without having Mr.James on the floor. I think when Lebron’s not on the foor other’s are the one’s scoring,and I personally want somebody to have a higher persentage of points more than Lebron. I love Lebron but when you have so much talent you shoud spred it out alittle. Delonte, Boobie, Sasha( when sasha is having a good game)and i love Sasha to , but when you have so much talent other people should be scoring more than Lebron on a regular basis.EXPECIALLY SENSE HE’S HURT!! Other pople should be able to out score lebron in one game. Delonte, yes I think that Delonte Should be out scoring some people, he is fanominal,yes I’m jusdt a kid talking about one of her favorite role models but still he should be able to score more than Lebron James in at least one game.
