Cleveland coach Mike Brown said guard Delonte West’s status for the Cavaliers-Celtics game is “doubtful” Tuesday afternoon.
West has been practicing with the Cavaliers and participated in a Tuesday morning shootaround, departing without speaking to reporters. West has not had any media involvement during a preseason marked by an arrest and a charge of domestic violence.
Brown said general manager Danny Ferry will decide whether to activate West.

Delonte is having a really rough time of things, Im sorry, but he’s a train wreck. Maybe, he needs some time off and get his life on track, so he can be a productive ball player. I am a victim of domestic violence, shame on him if he is an abuser, go to anger management and get the help you must need. I hope his wife gets out of the relationship, once a dog, always a dog. If he put his hands on you once, HE WILL DO IT AGAIN, trust me and all others who have gone thru domestic violence. He looks like a wanna be gansta, talks like one too.

I want to express my empathy for Delonte, I myself also suffer from bipolar, and I know how rough it can be to keep your life on track, some days it just seems like there is nothing you can do to get out of the slump, and sometimes I’m just sad and I dont know why..other days I’m great and feel on top of the world..I couldn’t imagine how difficult it must be to maintain personal well-being mentally while in the spot light, and everyone reporting your every slip up. I think everyone needs to stay out of his personal struggles, who don’t know him, and leave that up to his close family and friends. I think he should get back into the game, it might make him heal better. If anyone knows an email to leave delonte well wishes, please post! From one Bipolar 20something woman to a man, I know its hard and sometimes all you need is someone to support you! Good Luck Delonte..my prayers are with you!

Delonte has the love and support of the entire city of Cleveland. Our city’s reaction to his recent PERSONAL issue was a grieving sigh, which immediately transferred to the worry of not having one of our favorite players. Personal life aside, he is missed during these first two games, and we all hope to see him perform soon. Im tired of people trying to pretend they know him and his personal life. The public knows the NBA star, and as fans we should keep it that way. Im sure he is eager to come back, and has his head on straight.
