Delonte West played 24 minutes for the Sonics and contributed 19 points in Seattle’s season opener in Denver Wednesday night.

In contractual news, The Seattle Times reports that the Sonics…
“did not give contract extensions to Robert Swift and newcomer Delonte West before the Wednesday deadline, allowing both to become restricted free agents after the season.”

On Friday, Delonte West and the Seattle SuperSonics host the Phoenix Suns in what appears to be a nationally televised game on TNT.
