Celtics Stung by Hornets, Lose 106-88
Delonte West played 33 minutes in the Celtics loss on Monday night to the New Orleans / Oklahoma City Hornets. In his time on the court, West scored 4 points on 2 for 7 shooting, pulled down three rebounds and dished three assists. Paul Pierce led the Celtics scoring efforts with 28 points.
The Celtics lost the game by a final score of 106 to 88 despite outscoring the Hornets by 10 points in the final quarter of play. The deficit that the team created in the second quarter of play was simply too massive. After one quarter of play the Celtics led 31 to 26. The Hornets scored 31 points to the Celtics’ 9 in the entire second quarter — and that was enough to kill the night’s momentum.
The Celtics will return to action on their home court Wednesday to open up a four game home stretch against the Charlotte Bobcats at 7:30 PM ET.

Three comments first Delonte should be starting at the point. How can you start a guy who shoots 38% from the floor 24 from 3 and 60 percent from the free throw line that being Rajon Rondo. Delonte should be starting, so he could his assits up. I also think he should shoot the ball more and get to the free throw line more. He shoots over 85 percent from the line. He can get 17 to 20 points a night if he does that. The last thing is that I hope that next year he is the starting point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers.
