Delonte West Wins Parquet Floor Award
Before tonight’s game against the New York Knicks, Delonte West was awarded with the Parquet Floor Award. The Award was given based on fan voting through Celtics.com and was intended for the player who “shows the most hustle, grit and determination”.
West suffered a pulled left calf muscle in tonight’s game, but expects to be back and playing for the Celtics next game in Indiana against the Pacers. When leaving the locker room and having been questioned about his injury — Delonte said “I’m fine. I’ve got my Tools 4 Hire Award, I’ll be OK.”
